The Silver Star is ideal for the person with low transaction volume and is looking for an account with a small minimum to open and no monthly charge.

NOW ACCOUNT - INTEREST CHECKING

The best of both worlds – the Now Account provides the convenience of a checking account while earning interest like a savings account. Also, unlimited checks writing with no per check charges.

• Minimum Opening Balance - $1,500.00
• No service fee with minimum daily balance of $1,500.00; $10.00 charge will apply for the month, if minimum balance is not maintained
• Minimum daily balance to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield - $1,500.00

TEEN CHECKING*

Our Teen Checking helps our younger customers learn early the importance of managing their funds.  This account offers teens 13 to 18 years of age the opportunity to learn financial responsibility. 

•  Minimum Opening Balance - $50.00
•  No monthly service fee 
•  ATM/Debit Card access only – No Initial Access Charge; usage fees may be charged by non-TEB ATM owner
•  Paper Statement Fee - Waived if enrolled in eStatements; if not, $3.00 per month
•  NO Check Writing allowed
•  FREE Texas Exchange Bank Online Banking  
•  FREE 24-Hour Voice Response Banking 

*Account must be opened jointly with parent or guardian as joint owner(s). COLLEGE CHECKING**

The College Checking account was designed for our customers heading to or already in college, allowing them to meet their banking needs without the worry of a monthly service charge.  Available to college students 17 to 23 years of age this account offers them an account that fits their budget.
